is this a good poem? 1-10?

Question

a single leaf falls
it is not autumn
it is not time
a single leaf falls
he chose this
he drifts toward the ground
alone in silence
it is not time he chose this

do you understand what this is about?
it deeper than leaves on a tree!!

I Would Give it An 9 I liked it because it's like chosing Fate the leaf Symbolizes someone that choses a driffent fate from falling then everybody else dose i hope that was somewhat right hope i cold give some insight

I understood this to be a person who decides to commit suicide. "its not time" he is still young and has a life to live but "he chose this" because of "alone in silence". That is why he died and that is how he died - all alone.

I would split the last line in your poem into 2: It is not time/he chose this.

I really like this poem, it is very deep, but could still be perfected. I would give it a 9.

I understand what it is about, and think its good. I would give it a 8.5

It would also be really cool if you made a series of poems based around this one poem because I am wondering now what is happening to the man and what happened to the man before to make him coose the way he did.

It's a poem that asks a lot of questions. I like it!

it seems like it is about a path that a man chose. it almost sounds like he is getting ready to die by the leaves falling on the ground and by the aloneness in silence.

i would give it a 8-9. it's a good work.

i think it is talking about a man trying to choose which way to go in life. and yes this was a good poem i give it a 8

It's a sad poem. It makes me think of someone who's lonely. Perhaps even...suicidal. It's an interesting poem - however it doesn't offer any hope and in this case...lets hope life doesn't imitate art.
