While Liberals endlessly claim to support 'diversity' they seem to be entirely unable to tolerate 'diverse' ideas that challenge Liberal dogma.

When someone does challenge Liberal dogma, Liberals immediately accuse that individual of being 'racist', 'sexist', etc. and actually seem to believe that they should be prosecuted for such ideas, even if they are backed up by the preponderance of evidence.

To see this Liberal propensity in action, merely enter any liberal college campus and dare to argue;

After making these arguments, observe how "tolerant" both the Liberal students and facility are of these “diverse” ideas that don't conform to Liberal dogma.

[If you are a student on this campus, you will likely find yourself ostracized (segregated) for expressing these ideas].

Thus, it would appear that while Liberals claim to support the ‘diversity’ of unimportant, ‘skin-deep’ traits, such as race, they demand rigid conformity to their dogma in any institution which they control.

Modern day "Liberals" do not like diversity of ideas, you are correct about that. They usually do not like diversity of religion, especially if you are talking about Christians. They do not like diversity of prosperity. They do not like natural diversity which blesses us each with different levels of abilities and talents. They simply like ethnic, cultural, sex, sexual, and race diversity. If you have a group of black female, homosexual, atheists from Morocco a liberal will jump up and down with glee unless one of them happens to have a non-comformist, anti-liberal, dare I say.....conservative thought. At that point a liberal's loyalty will stop.

Diversity has become a term that simple means people with a different homeland, culture, sexuality or skin color. It is pathetic if you think about it.

To me, when I hear the word "diversity" brought up I start thinking political & ideological indoctrination. It has become a vulgar word to me that has no real meaning.

I judge people on the totality of their intellect, common sense, talent, morals, ideas, values and character. I don't judge them or sort them strictly by color, race, sex or sexuality.

I believe "liberals" are really the close minded people and they prove it on a daily basis.

I found your question interesting, especially since I am not an American. That said I would like to address the points you made, if I may. Also, I am what you would call a centrist, I am a fiscal conservative, but a social liberal and I'm Canadian, just so you know where I'm coming from.

1.) Like all other nations, the US can protect its borders

On this point you will get no arguement from me, just as I would like my northern territory and water protected agains US intrusion.

2.) Capitalism has brought prosperity to millions whereas Socialism has failed

True, socialism has failed, but unbridled capitalism can be a danger. Consider if more people are poorer than the rich, you could end up with a revolution on your hands.

3.) Slavery was not exclusively practiced by Caucasians and was first practiced in Africa by Africans.

Again on this point, you are completely correct and anyone, Liberal, Conservative, Black or White, who denies it are being intellectually dishonest. Whites do not have a corner on the market when it comes to slavery or any other misdeed.

4.) “Affirmative Action” and similar programs violate the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment

True but there are SOME legitimate arguements to be made for it, at least in the past. That said, I would agree that nowadays there seems little reason for it to continue.

5.) Science has proven that there are biological differences between the brains of men and women which cause them to gravitate towards different careers [bring this up in Womens Studies]

Hmm, again true, but the question then becomes why is it relevant. What I mean is, how is this biological truth relevant to what a woman wants to do, if you wishes to be a soldier, and is capable, what does the biology have to do with it. Note that I said 'capable', I don't believe in quotas.

6.) The United States is not the equal of, but superior to all foreign nations

This I'm afraid is neither true nor factual, it is at best an opinion, which as a proud American you have every right to say, but with respect, until there's a global vote on the matter, let's just keep that in the "my country, right or wrong" category.

7.) Or simply start/join the College Republicans.

Again you have a point in that there does seem to be a lot of hoopla over being Republican, but with respect, would you not at least concede that Republicans have not always been the most tolerant people when it comes to people of differing ideas either. On this point I think both sides have become to shrill in their rhetoric but then, as a centrist, I can see both sides of the coin.

BTW, interesting question, it made me think and I appreciate any question that does.

Hey! Fact: the more education a person receives, the more liberal he becomes. Did you imagine you could go to a college campus, spouting conservative dogma, and not be attacked? That would be like me invading a Christian Church, spouting atheist dogma, and then complaining that I didn't win any converts! The fact of the matter is that you probably are a sexist, racist pig. It's your perfect right to believe any damn fool thing you wish. Why do you insist on denying others the same privilege?

I couldn't agree with you more. I returned to college as a 30 year old, and could not believe the level of intolerance by so called Liberals, especially the teachers. I had an adviser in my Sociology department who was a flat out Marxist, who conducted after school lectures at the local pub on the benefits of Socialism. He was difficult to debate. He was good. I used to call them biased Liberals. They hated that.

Liberal "diversity" really means ethnic and sexual diversity, but nothing else. When someone has an intellectually divergent opinion from the left, the ad hominem attacks proceed immediately. You are on point with this question.

Well, its been a looong time since I've been on a college campus as a student. So I can't comment as a direct observer.

If true (and I would tend to agree with you) then how sad is that?

tolerance is only afforded to those who agree with the "diversive and multicultural, multi-sexuality" train of thought...any others are dismissed as non-progressive and thus destructive to the "real" way humans should evolve....and yes, the liberals and socialists radicals of the 60's and 70's are now the professors and teachers, as well as some politicians, of today...indoctrinating and brainwashing our youth into believing that their way or cause is the "normal" way and any other train of thought (god forbid you should actually try and think for yourself) is not in your best interest....of course, they actually dont believe what they preach...this is merely for the people that they want to have march to their own beliefs...

I labored in surgical technique for 6 years and have self assurance me all of us look very virtually the comparable under our epidermis, pink, pink, and bloody! Now in the assumption of what you mentioned, no, comprehend one desires to be with somebody they see as unattractive yet additionally what one exhibits pleasing yet another won't. So i think of the perfect expression is "attractiveness is in the attention of the beholder". it is truer it sort of feels than "attractiveness is in basic terms epidermis deep".

The general rule on liberalism is that they are liberal. lol... Liberal about the truth, liberal about what they mean when they talk to you. Liberal about their interpretation of what you say. You can't really trust them if they tell you something and you have to read between the lines when they actually do something...

Myths exists, because people want control and power, by thieft!
