How does "chance" effect inhertance in this law? because in his pea experiment, we could predict that the F2 generation would have 1/4 yellow pods. Since (Gg GG gG are all green) and only gg is left

all genotypes have the ability to be inherited right? so, 3/4 a chance it would be green. 1/4 yellow. theres no thing controling which one will be picked its all a matter of chance.

chance determines where genes will cross over therefore affecting segregation. using a punnett square shows ideal numbers. in actual breeding experiments percentages will be really close to those predicted by the punnett square but not exact, because of chance.
