Hello y'all. I will be going to Malaysia next month for my vacation and am in the process of searching for a foreign exchange to change from Canadian Dollar to Malaysian Ringgit.

Does anyone know of any good places where they offer a good return for my dollar here in Canada or even in Malaysia? Are there any currency exchange places you Malaysian living in Canada would go to?

Thank you kindly.

Ok... those seems to be some good advice from you all. But can someone tell me what the exchange rate from Canadian dollar to Malaysian Ringgit would be at the KLIA airports?

Thank you.

i am not sure where in canada u can get it changed. In Malaysia u can change it at the Kuala Lumpur International airport upon arrival, the rate would be the same at all money changers in Kuala Lumpur. Avoid changing it at the hotel as u will get lower rate usually. U can find money changer in every malls. If you are changing a sum, u can ask for better rates too.

$2 to the pound probably won't come back quickly, regardless of the indisputable fact that the fee has more advantageous in cutting-edge months - this is back to around $a million.sixty 5 from a low ingredient of around $a million.40. The pound in all fairness vulnerable on the 2nd, however the greenback's no super shakes the two with the mess the U. S. financial equipment's in, so the exchange fee could have a tendency to variety counting on the relative power of the U. S. and uk economies, and the two are notably damaging. The distant places money to be conserving on the 2nd is the euro.

The rate changes from day to day.
If you are changing at the airport, chances are, you will not get a favourable rate compared to changing at an authorized money changer outside the airport (due to bank commissions and other charges).

The rate today is C$1.00 = MYR2.99

You will also notice that the rate is falling.

Change to US dollars in Canada and then change them into Ringgits in Malaysia. I think you'll have to order Ringgits in your bank in advance if you insist to get them in Canada.

Yes, Malaysia has lots of exchange offices, banks where you can change your money, but most likely they won't accept Canadian dollars. They accept US dollars, Euros, Australian dollars, Singaporean dollars, Brunei dollars, Saudi rials and some other currencies. The list is limited. Another thing is quota of certain foreign currency a bank will accept. Normally they're only allowed to exchange until certain amount of foreign currency is reached, after that they will refuse to exchange respective currency. They'll explain you that if it happens, don't worry. You cannot exchange foreign coins. Banknotes only.

Private exchange offices run their own policies and they usually don't limit the amount of foreign currency they accept.
