Is there something I can download to fix the problem?

After reading those completely useless responses (yeah buy a new computer because Java won't work...), I thought I had better chime in with something mildly helpful.

If you performed a Vista upgrade you will still have the Java VM installation for Windows XP. This is not officially compatible with Vista, though a newer version of Java is.

Visit the offical Java website and install the latest version. This should fix your problems.

Don't Upgrade to Vista till they update it with bug fixes...XP RULES! lol

its vista. true its new but its full of errors. best i can tell you is complain to microsoft and hoep they got something. or just livewith it. or downgrade to xp.
