Yes, that can happen, its from dehydration usually. Drinking water before and after will alleviate that. Also, maybe it had an emotional effect!

Other side effects, dizziness, disorientation, euphoria.

Ive rarely had a bad experience

I've never known anyone to experience a headache after a Reiki treatment. It's always possible. Usually people feel more relaxed and happy. Sometimes people get slightly dizzy. I find it to be a wonderful treatment and would love to be able to have someone do this treatment every day on me. I do work with Reiki every day, but it always feels better when someone else does the treatment.

I have never had a headache after a reiki session. I am a Master/Teacher or higher in five different forms of Reiki.

If a person has a lot of energy blockages; it's possible.

It's an influx of energy into your system. If the Reiki practitioner doesn't prepare you properly, you can get headaches and also cleansing effects.

What did you eat or drink after your session? After Reiki you should only eat and drink healthy items. If you chose a soda after your session that is where the head ache came from.
