No, the staff is probably just overworked and underpaid; the results are predictable.
Blame management-by-the-bottom-line. As long as the site is wildly popular, it is a success. Why "waste" money on more staff?

well..err.. they're not that bad.. i mean, okay, they're a little..annoying.. sometimes..
what i really hate is the 'yahoo cartoon' that little animation when you go into your yahoo mail box.. if thats staff then yeah..they're cretins and morons.

They say it's NOT for chat and it's NOT within it's COMMUNITY guidelines , but what is a community if not for a person/persons to exchange and share their information with others !! !
