Whenever I wear stockings my legs itches intensly and constantly until I take them off. How can I stop this itching?

You may be allergic to something in your stockings. If they have an elasthane, elastic or Lycra content, or moisturizer added, try some without.

You could also try taking an antihistamine. If that stops the itching, it's an allergy.

Alternatively, you may just have sensitive skin. Try moisturising your legs with baby oil or E45 cream.

My wife used to have this problem once in a while. One question and two suggestions. Do you shave your legs and keep them shaved or do you have stubble. Stubble will cause this. If not, try wearing a better grade of hose. Todays hose are all synthetic, and contain chemicals. Try buying a 100% nylon hose. They are hard to find in pantyhose, but stocking style are easy to get. This helped my wife, she was being bothered by the synthetics in the modern hose.

Buy better ones. Cheap pantyhose are nasty, and itchy. I always wear real nylons with a garter belt. Lycra bothers me, and so do scratchy pantyhose, so I always buy sheer ultra sheer nylons and wear them with a garte belt, and I never itch.

Maybe you need moisturize or you are a bit allergic to your stockings material. Have you looked for a less synthetic garmet?
