I know. It happened to me too, with no warning. My email address (which is where I get most of my buisiness mail, like my bank statement, tax refund information, University admissions info, ect..is all sent to) is now gone. With no way of retreiving ANY of my contacts or addresses. My yahoo messenger list under that particular screen name is now gone. I was at level 4 on answers, and it is now gone.
Oh and just TRY contacting Yahoo! Customer Care, or the Yahoo! Answers abuse team about it. It will get you NOWHERE, because you can only reach them through email, and all they are gonna do is send you stupid, automated emails telling you that "in their sole discretion" they can delete you account for a TOS violation, but they will never tell you what that violation is.
Yahoo! Should at LEAST give you a warning first, like telling you "you're one violation away from suspension" or something so that you have a chance to save your contacts. But, Yahoo! doesn't care. Unfortunately it's blackmail, in my opinion, because if you are a PAYING member then you can get help over the phone and don't have to go through the email crap, plus you run less of a risk of getting your account deleted. So, what this says to ME is, "pay us or we delete you". That's not very professional in MY opinion.

Sweetie, everything has a reason/purpose. I know that some jokes or things I've read in reguards to people's questions have not been in good taste or in a concerned/caring manner. When I write a question, I do it because I respect the respond of another and hope to get answers I don't have & feel I can't give myself. Maybe this is your begaining to be the best YOU you can be!

I have no clue, this web site has been messing up on everything lately, it doesn't post most of my questions, and the ones it does post get taken off when they weren't even offending. I'm so sry they deleted you, i dont have many points but i'd still be mad if they did that to me.

some distance too many ! and that they didnt get there by maliously reporting people they have been given there with the aid of demanding paintings, intelligence, wit humour and being many times valuable people ! i might have reached point 5 weeks in the past if it wasnt for receiving violations for no reason !

Why does this happen to people? What types of things are we posting that are considered bad enough to delete someones account? Geez.....I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm going to add you to my contacts, if that's ok. Can anyone email me and explain how all this banning and deleting is happening and what I can do to make sure it doesn't happen to me? This is crazy!!

Perhaps if one would stop preaching anti-LGBT hatred and bigotry, and following the TOS for a chance, one would not have such problems.
Hate speech is never a joke, and often hints at serious psychological problems. I hope that people who display such cowardly behavior can get help right away.
We all pray for such people to return to decency, truth, and justice.

I don't know what the heck is going on. I think too many people got caught skipping classes, and have been suspended. At least, that's the last thing I got suspended for. . .in junior high.

Maybe we should all write to Y answrs to change their policy on this. Got any ideas on how this could be resolved? Like needing more than one person to complain to get booted?
