Was the attack on 9/11 planned by a larger mind than Osama Bin Laden?

Throughout history there have been many conspiracies involving the idea of an invisible hand that has dominated the actions of the world. We have to ask ourselves exactly how could a small and seemingly insiginificant group such as Al Queda coordinate such a well planned attack against the most powerful and well connected country in the world? Doesn't the CIA and FBI have intel covering everything that happens? Did they know? What was Haliburton's connection to the Bin laden family? So many unanswered questions that have been swept under the rug lead us to ask ourselves who is actually running this country? What does the Declaration of Independence say regarding a government that doesn't have the best interests of the people at heart? Times are changing and things move so fast who can stand against the unseen forces that have changed our past. A new day is dawning and the world is wrought with change, but will we stand idly by those same forces our lives they rearrange?

i Think it was planned by somebody other than Osama. He just doesnt sound like he did it and he still hasnt been caught today, for all we know he could be eating at McDonald's down the street or something. And i just have to know where the CIA and FBI got intel that this specific group did it and not a bunch of Iraqians or foreign people that actually lived here their whole life and they are doing something for their beliefs, but instead we attack their homeland and they get what they wanted, some company and someone to play with all these years. We already out number them at least double or alledegly and we are still losing people everyday? Something is wrong with that intel somewhere someone is messing up.

First, most of Bin Laden's family have disowned him and disavowed his actions. It's a quite prominent Saudi family that has had good relations with the USA for a very long time so I think that it's unfair to paint them all with the same brush. Of course they have a relatioship with Halliburton. Making Halliburton the enemy here is just wrong headed. That are an American company that happens to be the best at what they do. It's time that the loopy lefty's stop demonizing this company with their weird accusations.

The plan was well made and carried out by a small number of people in part because they used our own freedoms against us. Do you think that a group of Arabs could have carried something like this off against El Al Airlines? I doubt that because their security is so much stricter than ours. We have these freedoms so we have these dangers. Do you want to be strip searched and go through a background check before you're allowed on an airliner?

Who's running this Country? That's easy, the elected Government is running the Country and don't doubt that for a minute. We have freedoms in this Country so there are places where the Government has little influence, like gasoline prices, but the Government is functioning well.

Our Government consists of a huge number of people with divergent interests and to say that they don't have the interests of the people at heart is disingenuous.

Put the bong down for a while and maybe the paranoia will subside.

Al Qaeida was not an insignificant group. At the time of the Sept. 11 attacks, they were the ruling government in Afghanistan. Along with being extremely influential in many countries in the middle east and ties all over the world.

Until you are willing to acknowledge facts, you need to shut the h*ll up.

Finally a mind worth knowing! You have totally took the thought right out of my head. Here is my answer... You would think being the most powerful in the world that our intelligence would be better than that wouldn't you? I believe the info. was suppressed, as usual, so that the attack would play out and that would give Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc.. the excuse they were looking for in order to put fear into the American people and sell us some ^&^$(^& for his dirty little war! His Father had more reason to go to war with Iraq then he did. The attacks didn't even come from there, anyone who has common sense knows that just like there were no weapons of mass destruction. Wake up people!!! When we asked yourselves in high school, "Why do we need to know History or Government?", this is WHY!!!

DARPA ? i asked a q about pentagon security on y a . people actual said 'why would they have defenses , its just an office building' . people ARE really that naive and ignorant in u.s. , they believe drivel bush spouts . pentagon is in charge of defense of the whole country. they didn't get off one shot , one anti aircraft missile , one laser burst ? nobody was watching CNN that morning at pentagon ? i knew America was under attack after 2nd plane hit wtc and half hour before plane hit the pentagon , and they didn't up defcon status ? first time in 35 years NORAD was standing down , on that particular day ? way too many coincidences .they had inside help !
