did youu know that the gorverment are trying to stop people using cash in shops. therell be extra money deducted for people using cash instead of a debit and creit card. also they want to introduce a type of debit card you can use in coner shops and stores such as tesco. it will be like an oyster card that you can use to buy whatever you want with. this card will be used for things which dont add upto much i.e. a packet of crisps as oppsed to your weekly shop
how far will the control go...
in answer to your question. there is no time limit. banks will just exchange old notes for new whenever they get them... etc. but you might start getting charged for using cash soon...
