I have been getting bills for a credit card I never applied for. The company is saying I owe them a lot of money. Now they are involving an attorney because I won't pay those bills.
Each time they write me a letter the total amount is lower then the letter before. They still claim that I took the card out and used it. Without going to court, how can I handle this?

Thanks for the answers. Should I contact them for proof of anything with my autograph on it?
