I have a base drum without the outside head. I want to get one but I don't have the rim or the screwy things. Could some one tell me what it is exactly that I am missing and where to but this stuff.

I'd take the drum into the local music store and ask them what you need to make this complete.

You neec the rim, a head, and the lug nuts.

The only way to get the ones that fit is by going to the local music store. Take it to the local guy though, not the national chain.

You mean the "bass" drum (or "kick"), right?
Take it to your local music store...if you're lucky, your town will have a musicial instrument repair shop.
They can retro-fit a new rim and skin.
