It's illegal to use tax money to fund abortions.

Signed. We already know overpopulation is going to be a problem, so yeah those who want to contribute to it knowing full well that they could have chosen not to should at the very least pay for their own kids if not actually pay extra taxes for having the kids.

Well bottom line is people want the government to step in and tell the woman what she has to do with her body. Then Ban abortion. However to cut back on welfare etc, sterilization for the men who fail to pay child support. When the possibility of mess with the family jewels are at stake it a different ballpark. Shoot I don't want to see kids like the starving in the United State, I sure As hell don't want more tax dollars pumped into the system.

As a general rule, financial commitment is the best way to guage someone's true commitment to something. I think this is a legitimate question, and deserves consideration. For those prolifers who are so commited to their cause...are they willing to PAY for their beliefs? Are they willing to pay money out of their own pockets to support the lives they want to protect?

From my experience on this forum, the answer is no. The conservatives jump all over anyone suggesting higher taxes in order to provide a healthier America through national healthcare - labelling it as socialist. So if they don't want to pay money from their own pockets to save the life of a fellow countrymen, what are the odds they will be willing to pay money out of their own pockets for an unborn life?

Put your money where your mouth is, folks. Until then, get over it! Abortion is legal.

Only if we can institute a "leech on society" tax that only libs get to pay. It amazes me how libs have such compassion for the lazy irresponsible segment of the population yet do everything they can to penalize those that have proven to be responsible. It's like praising your child for getting all D's but smacking him upside the head when he brings home an A.

So we should reward irresponsible behaviour, and punish those who accept their responsibilities as parents? What an amazingly asinine idea. And, for the record, we already DO pay for the "brats" health care and education, and upkeep; its called AFDC, Medicare, and the Public School System.

You are talking nonsense. You are talking about killing children because of the tax burden to you. People like you like to call the Conservatives cold and heartless but you just told on yourself. I bet you support allowing illegal immigrants benefits at the cost of taxpayers while denying life to children who would be citizens if they were allowed to live.

I think there should be an abortion tax. The abortion research tax will go to fund the Embryonic stem cell research. This will please the researchers and the government need not be bothered with getting into the general fund.

It's obvious from your question that we're not putting enough money into the educational system. Pro-life tax? That's pretty dumb.

Only if those tax revenues go to spay and neuter those individuals who are obviously confused about what causes pregnancy or just too stupid to figure out how to prevent it.
