I think the designer sunglasses (Oakley, Maui Jims,Ray Ban, etc.) are a bit overpriced. I wonder how much it actually costs to manufacturer them, probably a small fraction of the retail price. Do you think they are really that much better than a 40 dollar pair from Walmart? Maybe they're just a status symbol like brand name jeans.

£12 from 'Next' . I always break them though...last pair I closed my boot door on them and squashed them flat.

When the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks met, there were some heated arguments on the court which made it good for the NBA. The players that were involved were players like Michael Jordan, Greg Anthony, Scottie Pippen, John Starks, Dennis Rodman, Charles Oakley, and other arguments between players. There were a lot of moments, but two moments stick out to me the most and I can't help but re live every time.

I wear glasses and do not have sunglasses. When I wore contacts I had a paid of sunglasses I got free from McDonald's, wrong person to ask. I am bad about designer things. I do not like money, hate to spend it. If I needed some I am sure I would just get the cheapest! Where I live, it all is status!!! Live like the stars!

My husband ONLY buys Maui Jims. Even when we were dirt poor, he would spend $250 on a pair of sunglasses. The cheaper kinds hurt his eyes or have a wierd color in his opinion. In his defense, he takes extremely good care of his sunglasses and only replaces them about every 5 years.
I on the other hand HAVE to spend that much on sunglasses because they are prescription. Nonetheless, I LOVE sunglasses. You never EVER see me outside during the day without them. Even my avatar has sunglasses! I used to buy the cheapies, loose the or sit on them, then replace them every couple of weeks or so. Now that I have $$ ones, I never loose them and I've only sat on them once.

I don't spend a lot of money on sunglasses. I think the most I've ever spent is about $40.They were Calvin Klein.

I would never pay more than $25 for a pair and they would have to be very cute. Who really cares if your sunglasses are name brand? That is so silly to pay alot for just a name and especially for something that is so easy to lose or get damaged.

i've paid like 3.00 for a good pair of shades from Family Dollar and the best part about them was i could look at someone and they couldn't see me looking at them lol
