I am trying to get on myspace at school and they blocked both of them are there any others???

Are proxy sites (like vtunnel) safe????
Proxy sites can indeed "steal" your passwords. Now how much you trust them and how safe they are depends on who is running them and why. Since there is NO WAY you can be sure of that answer. Your best line of defense is DO NOT TRUST them at all.
You have to ask the next logical question. Why do they exist in the first place. It is to allow access that your school, employer etc has chosen not to deliver. Why did your school do that?
So if you use a service that allows you to bypass restrictions then they are providing an immoral if not illegal service in the first place -- so you be the judge.. how safe is that.

I am a student too, and I just wait until I get home. There are so many things that can happen to you...
You can get expelled,
get in trouble,
your password can be stolen,

NOW, its upto you if you want to use them.

If it is blocked and you access it (even through a proxy site) you will probably get suspended or expelled because you violated the Internet Usage Agreement you agreed to before you even began using the Internet there. I highly suggest just waiting until you get home to get on MySpace, you really don't need to get on at school anyway. Please pay attention in school, I don't want the future leaders of the world to be clueless on everything except MySpace.
