The best way to get rid of 1 is not to have 1 in the first place.
But I am assuming you already have 1.
So, tell her straight up, the relationship is over, erase her phone number(s) from your contact and your address books. Remove her from your email addresses and place her address in your blocked list. Do not answer any telephone call from her (get caller ID) or have any other contact with her. If you work together, change jobs.
Tell your wife about her just in case your mistress gets the idea to threaten you with exposing your to your wife--beat her to the punch. Oh yeah, you'll catch heck from it, but that's the price you pay for fooling around.

First of all, don't have one. If you aren't going to be faithful to your partner, at least have the human decency to break the relationship first. But since you've already broken that rule, don't cease contact like everyone else suggested. Mistresses think that they're in a relationship just as much as your partner does. I suggest actually communicating (which, if everyone did, the world would be such a better place) with her. Tell her you want to work things out with your partner, or whatever your reasons are for not wanting to see her. If she turns psychotic, its as simple as a restraining order. There's no need to be immature and cut contact with any female.

Stop talking, sleeping, calling or any contact at all unless you have children together and I hope that you already told her that it will never be anything between the two of you if you didn't do that so she can get the message. Never leave it unfinished!! Don't start another relationship unless you're single you hurt people when u do.

Tell her you are cheating on her, and that you love the other person very much. You want to spend the rest of life with the one u love.

dont answer calls and have no contact with her tell her the reason why you have to stop seeing her and thats that unless she is crazy
