I have a guy in my class that likes me and I'm about to get married in 3 months and I want to tell him that we can be friends but I think that I might hurt him. so what do you think about that? Should I tell him how I feel or should I tell him that we can be friends. what would you do?

you can be friends with anyone. Never worry that you are going to hurt someone by telling them a truth.. that's their responsibility and personal problem.
If you invite him to your wedding that will be all you will need to say to him if he doesn't already know you are engaged...
If you are even thinking of anything but friends and only you know this in your true heart, then maybe you need to re-evaluate and tell him it wouldn't be appropriate to be more than classmates...you didnt say or prob even know how he truely feels about the friendship ...just ask him...maybe he'll tell you the truth maybe not?
attraction isn't a choice, but acting on it is ..do the right thing and all will be fine in the end..
Good luck and Congradulations

Do you like that guy in your class... do you love him? If so, then why are you marrying the other guy? Either you marry the person you're already engaged to, or cut the ties and move on with the other guy. You can't have both, you'll only create more problems for all involved.

You sound as if you have doubts about getting married. Why do you find it so difficult to just come straight out and tell him? Why are you tongue-tied? I can tell you from experience that after you get married, a ring on your finger won't stop men from approaching you. Therefore, you have to be straightforward and speak your mind. If you find it difficult to do so, maybe you need to postpone getting married until you've reached that point. Good luck.

If he likes you and you don't return his feelings, then you should explain to him that you would like to be his friend but that you don't want to lead him on because you are getting married. If you do return his feelings then you should still tell him that you are getting married and don't act on your feelings but I wouldn't suggest you become friends with him because that would just be asking for trouble.

you need to be honest with him and let him know that you would like to be friends and that is all. He does understand that you will be married in 3 months right

it would hurt him more if you lead him on and make him think he has a shot. Atleast he will still have his dignity if you tell him you're getting married but you want to be friends.

Are you marring the classmate ? No ? cut it off, not good to be married and have "friends" of the opposite sex. Would you approve of your husband having a "female friend" especially if she was single and attractive ?

Who do you care about more? This guy in your class or your future husband? Don't risk messing things up with your fiance' be straight forward with this guy and tell him you JUST want to be friends, nothing more.

Yes, of course! Unless he is guy you are gonna marry. It hurts lesser if you tell him off now :-)
