Just when we think things are getting so bad in our world or our country, little stories like these remind us that there is still good in the world. I just wanted to share.

It is often said that we learn from our mistakes. Also, it is said that it is darkest before the dawn. It really depends on the individual whether good comes from tragedy. Some can have a close call and realize how lucky they were causing them not to repeat the action. Others just learn how to get away with it instead of making it not happen again. It is all about the person's character. People's character is determined by what they do repeatedly. People's character usually doesn't change unless they have a very traumatic experience. Even then, for some it won't change anything. This doesn't answer your question exactly, but it does provide hope. Without hope, we are all lost.
