The GMAT exam is given all the time. You just have to go to http://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT to register and you will be able to go to a testing center to take the test.

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is not an entrance exam of any kind but a test which gives you a score on a scale of 800. You then send the scores to universities along with your previous academic transcripts, recommendation letters and your own personal statement of purpose and the college admissions committee, after reviewing your application, makes a decision as to whether to accept you or not.
The GMAT is a computer based test which can be taken at an authorized center of your choice. One may appear for the GMAT on any day provided that center has a slot open.
