I saw a report on 20/20 or Dateline (I forget) about a guy that sues anyone and everyone and usually wins.
I have heard of people like this and even though most of their cases are frivolous, they make a lot of money doing it.
Some make a living doing it.
Anyone know of a site or information about someone who does.
Not that I'm considering it.
Personally I feel like people that do this sort of thing are bottom feeders that take advantage of the system.

And just think, if there were no lawyers it wouldn't happen.

Yes I read a story about a guy here in Orange county, California who is not really handicapped by any doctor's evaluation yet he sits his lazy @ss in a wheelchair all day and plays chess. He has made over 300,000 in the past year by going to businesses, all family owned and run, and then finding small things wrong with their bathroom or front door. Most notably he gets them for the MIRROR BEING TOO HIGH which causes him "trauma, frustation and mental anguish" Can you beleive it? Just putting people out of business for his own gain. He tried to sue a lady for having no wheelchair ramp at her flower shop and he had not EVEN BEEN THERE because the proprietress herself was disabled and has had a wheelchair ramp in the back for 20 years.

Get this though- the lawyer that he uses to sue everyone? His office is on the second floor, no elevator. hmmmm

My sons Grandfather does this crap. He mostly sues over car wrecks. He has had close to 12 back surgeries trying to fix what wasn't wrong to begin with. He lied and said his back hurt after a car wreck and they did surgery to fix a non hurt back and thus messed it up. The last time they opened his back up to removed pins they left a rag in his back and he is now sueing doctors. I think at the moment hes working on his 20th lawsuit or close to it. For the record I can't stand this man! When I was 8 months pregnat I was riding with him and a car crossed infront of us with plenty of room to do so. My sons grandfather speeded up yelling "more money, more money" hopeing he could hit the car and it would be their fault.

I have met a few, however, aside from them being immoral and therefore that that attractive as a friend, I also thought it wise not to deal with them at all.

I invest a lot of money and one thing people like this do just cracks me up. Contractors will be there working up bids for me, bragging about their latest law-suit. At that moment I decide, no business with this bozo. Do they really think I will be impressed?

I won't divulge names, but I know of 3 people that make many $$$ from suing.

One of the main suers (?) does it for ADA violations.

I don't call them bottom feeders because I think that is somewhat of a compliment. I call the "Human Parasites'!!!

There may be site, search for "Frivolous Lawsuits".
Good luck.

Yes I do unfortunately. There seem to be quite a few of these bottom feeders around. We wonder why our insurance rates are so high and there is a lawyer on every corner.

Most lawyers who do that advertise on TV.
They are like TV Evangelists that make a lot of money.
What you see on TV usually is a bad version of what we have in town that does the right thing.

I do. The father of my sister-in-law has made tons of money by suing people and institutions. It's kind of sad. He pretty much has no friends now because people either avoid him out of fear of being the next victim of suit or because they disapprove of what he does. He's wealthy, but alone.

He makes millions from suing people and companies.
Look into it far enough and maybe you'll be able to find pics of his HUGE new house in Chapel Hill, NC.
10,000 sq. ft. + a seperate blg.with a pool,gym,racketball court...
and HE talks about there being 2 Americas?

Yup I know someone who is a habitual worker's comp suer -- he works, gets "injured", sits on his butt a couple of years while he is suing, gets a settlement, gets a job, gets "injured" and starts all over again..........he is family and I have absolutely nothing to do with him because of this.

Honest people get tired of working their ASHES off and these people sit on their ashes and make thousands.
