it feels like every other person i know r leaving this contry to have a better life my friend says this contry has nothing to offer anymore and she wants to give her children a better start in life i have a young family and it has got me wondering is the grass really greener on the other side

I live in Spain, and I don't really think this is paradise, salaries are very small, crime is going up, and people is not very friendly with immigrants... I am actually trying to find a Visa to go and live in Canada or maybe The states one more time (lived in California for 3 years)... the main problem in Spain are the salaries and life is not CHEAP as they say, housing is umpayable for a standard working class person, and employers often exploy their employees... things here move around how important you are, I mean if you have this or that surname and your family is known you might do really well, otherwise you are nothing and it doesn't matter if you are best at what you do... if you have friends you will probable do well.

Realize one very important fact. American is lazy. It isn't just the talk about are love for fast food and fast cars. Nope it is also are education system is a total mess. Cost way to much. Besides that are health care system is a very big joke along with are retirement plans and social welfare. We might be the most well known country for western civilization, but that doesn't make us the best.. just don't tell any other americans I said that...
