The truth of the matter is, men are just as insecure as women are. They just (most of the time) don't like to show it. If they're at all afraid of getting shot down, they won't even bother at all.

because of the fact that there is a chance you might not feel the same way,to go through that embarrassment is sometimes not worth it,especially if the outcome is not what you hoped for

hes shy, alot of guys are to tell they like someone. i am sometimes but he will get there just go up to him and ask if it is true.

He may be shy, or scared that you might reject his feelings for you. Honestly, he must think that your better then him and he might not have a chance.
