i need a book on the quartering act like how + wat happened + i need the site to be sited with the author + date of publication+ everythign else

There were two, one in 1765 and another in 1774.
The Quartering Acts were passed by Parliament to allow British troops to stay in the homes of colonists. It's one of the reasons the third amendment was passed.

I have looked, and can't find a specific book that deals just with the Quartering Act. It's a fairly small part of the overall Revolution -- it was part of the Intolerable Acts.

I did find a journal article:

New England Quarterly 1966 39(1): 80-88

If you look for "causes of the American revolution" in an library database, you'll find plenty of books. Almost all will cover the Quartering Acts in varying degrees.
