There is a bit in the L word where Alice, Dana, Shane & Alice's mother are in a car reminiscing about their coming out, (not Alice's mom!) & they are singing a song.

Hey there...The song is "Closer to Fine" by the Indigo Girls...great song :)

I love that show but I don't recall them singing...
Have you looked at their episodes at their website or on youtube?
