I wouldn't. Where we are as a world both socially and technologically is a sum of the events we've been through. Many events in some way affect or cause the development of totally unrelated ideas or technologies. True, we might avoid some unpleasantness or deaths of millions, but the cost might very well be far greater in the long run.

Either the invention of AXE body spray (which is NOT a substitute for proper hygine) or the birth of Fred Phelps. Either would make the world a much better place.

the nuclear test the goverment approved.pollution, rap,fast food restaruants,all the murders and rapes. just everything. this world is such a mess. oh and welfare!
