In a hardware shop or electrical shop.
Maybe you should get a Dead Man's switch which only comes on when you step on it and goes off when you release foot pressure, (a normally open (NO) switch).
If you need it to come on only when you lift your foot of the switch, than you need to install a normally closed (NC) switch on the dead man switch

You know, instead of getting a pedal or a device, why don't you install a simple kill switch? Get yourself a SPST switch, then with a drill, and some soldering, it should take no more than 30 minutes. Remember Tom Morello's solo in Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the machine? It was a kill switch trick. You can cut off the signal from your guitar level.

These are all some pretty wild ideas! I like the creativity.
Here's another one. With a small amount of work, low price, and some added usefulness, just get yourself a tuner pedal that has two outs on it. My Fender one (very cheap--but still useful) cuts the sound when the tuner is engaged on Out 1, leaves the feed on with Out 2. Very useful, plus gets double-duty out of the tuner. Which is nice, since having an in-tune guitar is awesome and not making your audience listen to it is doubly awesome.

If you want cheap, use and old stomb box or wah and take out the battery, or try ebay. Morley has a tripler by George Lynch that would work. It has some really kool functions.

pedals are not cheap so i'm curios as to why you would want to spend so much money for something that you can just as easily do with the volume control on the guitar, unless you have a soundhole pickup i'd abandon the idea
