Hmmmm, lemme see.

You're linked with 2 PCs using a modem and the other two using the router, right?

And the other PC to which this dysfuntional one is linked is working, too, right?

Then, the problem is not with the router.

Please check to see if the dysfunctional comp is configured for the router!? See if the router settings have been done there and if it's communicating with the default gateway, which is usually the router's website.

If that's OK, then it's a hardware related issue.

Cheers!

Can you see (ping) other computers on the network from the wired pc? Could be a cabling issue. Check the connection settings and verify that they match the working systems. If you have a firewall make sure there is no filtering taking place that could be blocking this system.

flow to regulate Panel -> community Connections. Rightclick on your LAN connection and choose residences. Now, elect information superhighway Protocol (TCP/IP) in the menu, and click on residences. even if it isn't set to 'acquire an IP-take care of promptly', set it to that, reboot, and attempt again. even if it really is, set it to 'Use proper right here IP-take care of', and also you are able to enter a distinct default gateway there. i'm no longer particular what your gateway is, yet research it to different pcs on the community that do have information superhighway, and set it to a similar. do no longer set it to a similar IP-take care of, even if, in simple terms change the default gateway to verify.
