i dont think it is cruel if these animals have been saved by forest fires and are unwell and need to be looked after to get better and took back out into the wild, so dont start saying its cruel when i only want to help these poor animals. and it is legal somewhere or else it wouldnt have been on tv

Generally Foster care is never a paid job, its a volentary position. You foster from your heart not your pocket. Foster care providers for exotic animals are generally people that have worked with animals a long time and are familar with the dietary needs of the animals. Legally if your fostering baby monkeys that are to be release you would have to go to the country of origin, since its illegal to release a non-original species in an area that its not native to. So for Orangatans you would have to go to Borneo. For Gorrilas you would have to go to Africa, same with Chimps. Some zoos and sanctaries have babies and orphans that need to be fostered. Generally they have ex-employees or vollenteers to fosters these, because they have done extensive checks with them to be sure they can properly care for these. I have a wildlife rehab licence and have bottle raised many species. I was honored a few years ago to foster, and raise 2 Siberian Tiger Cubs that were confiscated from a bad exotic breeder. I never was paid and had to use my own money most of the time for supplies. In almost every foster situation you will have to SPEND money to do it.

They would be wildlife rehabilitators- you can find a few legal places in any state. As for doing Gorillas- you would need to be where the Gorrillas are in the wild- so you would need an African rehabers license and move to the Congo area.

As for pay, I am assuming it is the same around the world as it is for the USA- you do not really get paid. I am a captive wildlife major (want to eventually do wildlife veterinary) who came to the #1 public college for captive wildlife wanting to be a rehaber.
There is a joke around campus- you can not open a rehab center unless you have a rich husband with 6-7 figure income. I know of 5 different rehab centers- all have a husband who is a lawyer/doctor, etc.
In any animal field, you do it for the love of animals- not the money. Even as a vet, I will be making only about 60k a year when I am experienced.
If you work for someone else at a rehab center, you may get paid min wage, most do not pay at all. It is a job that everyone wants to do and the competition is very stiff- so they do not need to pay a lot to attract people to help out.

First off you wouldn't get paid for fostering animals that is only fostering children that pays you. second I am not sure on were in the world you can do this I imagine if it is to release them back into the wild then it would be were they are from.
