Well I just talked with my doctor about that two weeks ago. I'm 37 weeks and being induced tomorrow. And what you are going through is your body cleaning itself out so that you will go into labor. Thats why you hear all the people telling you to drink castrol oil is because acting in the bowels stimulates contractions and can cause labor. So it's def something you should tell your doctor about. But dont worry too much because in a week you will technically be considered full term!!!!!!

I would say that yes you might be going into labor but this could happen for 2 more weeks. Even though you are already 9 months pregnant, you can still be pregnant for an whole other month. I have had 3 full term pregnancies. Bowel movements usually help the stomach contract. With my first child I couldnt even feel the contractions, I only felt my stomach getting hard until my water broke and 17 hours later he was here. I think that once they gave me pitosin though that is what caused me to actually feel it. The signs of a contraction is stomack feels rick solid and monor aches in the abdomen and lower back. I think that you are having your baby though congratulations and good luck.

Well I have 4 children and feel I am experienced!
It is rare but of for the bowl movements but the baby most likely just positioned himself in a not-so-comfortable way. It also happens when you have to pee a whole lot. Yes the belly does get tender and hard all the time I dont think it is anything you should worry about. The soarness is normal, your belly is probably already huge and not used to it. Your belly is still stretching and it will ache and your back will ache, like you would not believe, But it is normal. You still have a little way to go so just get used to it! I hope this helps.

Sounds like labor may not be to far away. If your stomach hurts and gets tight, that most likely is a contraction. It would not hurt to time them if they become intense. You will def. know when the hard labor hits. Keep an eye out for your mucous plug also. You can wear a kotex pad and watch for a pinkish stain. My water gushed the first time and I had such a slow leak with the second one I didnt even know it. You can let your doctor know, although he wont want to see you i am sure until they are about 4 or 5 minutes apart. unless you have had a difficult pregnancy. but it is always to check with the dr if you are unsure of anything. It is a great time for you. Enjoy and best of luck. remember sleep when the baby sleeps!!!!dont try and be super women!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes this means you can be do any time however everyone is different and you could have that baby tonight or a week from now I didnt have my son till i was 40 weeks along. I started having similar symptoms when i was 37 weeks and every one said today today and he didnt come for 3 more weeks so just be careful and try to stay relaxed walking will help the pain and tighness of your belly it also helps progress the labor feeling and may cause real or braxton hicks contractions so be aware and good luck.

Going to the bathroom more often, is normal. Your running out of room in there you know, and things are a bit more squished than usual. As for the hardness of your abdomen, I had the same thing start within a few weeks of delivery. Also, you may notice that you can be really hungry and only be able to eat small amounts. All this is normal. But I would definitely say get lots and lots of rest (you'll need it) and get your bags packed sister, cause your probably not to far from getting your lil' bundle in your arms soon. How exciting! May God bless you and your little one with abundant health, good luck!

since you are close to your labour date you have these symptoms. when you feel the baby's movement its allfine. do not do any hard work. walking is best for you now. inspite of eating heavily at a time divide your portions and eat for 4 to 5 times . eat fruits and vegetables. sleep towards your leftside to help good blood circulation to the baby. and if the pain persists and you could not tolerate go to your doctor. it may be labour pain. some times we go into labour a week before the doctor prescribed date. its all a normal thing.

I would say you are in "pre labor" Unfortunately this can go on for weeks. If you are worried visit your doctor. I have had friend who have felt like this and gone into labor with the next warning being water breaking.
Good luck you are almost to the next part.....Baby

Very normal that late in pregnancy, but also probably an indicator that labor is coming. Call your ob and let her know what's going on.

Pregnancy changes your body completely! Not surpirsed what it's doing to your intestines.. Track what you've been eating.
