If not, they should be. The Administration and their neocon lakeys have given the Republican Party and true Conservativism a bad reputation. As a Democrat I don't feel too sorry for them. They allowed those people to dominate their party. It may also mean the first Democratic Party landslide since 1964 when Lyndon Johnson defeated Barry Goldwater for President and swept more Democrats back into both houses of Congress.

How angry were Democrats on the day that the Supreme Court ruled in Bush v. Gore?
Very angry, and justifiably so.
But why haven't Democrats REMAINED angry at the Supreme Court?
Is it because the Supremes declared that "sodomy" is a constitutional right? (Thus making the Republicans angry at the Court?)
I'm not angry at the loss of majority control of Congress. After all, 49 out of 100 Senators is certainly quite a good bit of control in the body that can filibuster. And I don't know just how many state legislatures are now controlled by Democrats. Be that as it may, I am angry at the Supreme Court for lots and lots of things. I am angry at the Supremes for their decision in Bush v. Gore, and I am angry at the Supremes for their decision in Roe v. Wade and Lawrence v. Texas and lots of others.
Indeed, I am basically no longer a Republican because I'm never going to vote ever again because of how angry I am at the Supreme Court.

Nope, we're really enjoying that fact that the Democrats now have the perfect opportunity to show everyone just how incompetent they are, and it's working like a charm. Between Pelosi, Murtha and others in the House and Reid, Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, Lahey and others in the Senate, they've already proven that they wouldn't know the truth if it hit them between the eyes and they couldn't find their butts without a roadmap. It's hilarious, and by the time the 2008 elections roll around, the Democrats will have shot themselves in the foot so often that they'll have nothing left below their ankles. Heck, these idiots can't even get a NON-BINDING resolution passed.

Can a Democrat ask a question without bashing President Bush? Am I angry - no at all. Just take note of one thing , all this talk about an impeachment & nothing has surfaced - sounds like the democrats in office are more intelligent then the ones that vote for them.

The American public is the messenger of the Republicans own Karma they have slashed and burned their way around D.C. and bullied and pushed people around enough where the tables have turned.
You cannot use tactics like they have to long before people get down right mad and retaliate.
Its all the fault of the Republican administration very dumb stuff. But it represents the whole Bush, the V.P. Rove and the rest of the gangsters that are there.

Not a conservative here....but I'd like to point out that the Dems should be angry for having a lame party in power at present. They may control both houses, but they are not acting on that power. THAT is what makes me angry!

I'm angry as a former Republican that those Republicans in congress are still calling themselves conservatives. If they had actually stayed with a conservative message and listened to the people they were suppose to represent they would still control everything. The democrats didn't get voted in because America likes them, it's because they were so unhappy with the Republicans.

The Americans who think of all the horrible consequences to the economy and our safety of a Democratic congress are appalled at the stupidity of the American people, know what fools the Democrats have demonstrated themselves to be.

Someone might want to wake up the Dems and tell them they are in "control" because they are still whining as they've been doing for years. Dems only know how to play the blame game. I'm not angry. It'll be fun to watch them all turn on each other. Oops... look! It's starting already!

I'm pretty happy.
All this talk about a Democrat controlled congress and you STILL can't pass anti-war legislation.
Yep. I'm still happy.
I guess President Bush isn't as lame duck as you like to think.
