The 6 Imams who were detained for hours while being investigated for disrupting the safety of a passenger flight, are now suing the airline and the passengers(John Does for now).

Only reply to the following 2 questions if you have the facts of the case.

Would you consider granting them a victory in court . . . .over the airline ? How about over the passengers who reported suspicious behavior ?

If a they receive a favorable verdict over the passengers , would that stop you from reporting suspicious behavior on a flight ?

Please remember all of the unusual tactics that were employed here . Seat changing without permission, and requests for seat-belt extenders for people that didn't need them . Now who has ever done that ?

I think the "John Doe" portion of this lawsuit will have to be dropped. Reporting Muslims are praying in the airport when Muslims are praying in the airport, is not an infringement of anyone's right. The scary part of this is that CAIR is willing to do it in the first place. What kind of agenda does that show?

it is humorous which you ask this. I had this communicate with a chum of the kinfolk who occurs to be a criminal expert. He advised me that the passengers have a case right here. those imams placed themselves equivalent to the seating of the 911 hi-jackers, spewed anti-American rhetoric (in English i will upload) did each and every thing they might to frighten the different passengers. They did this to elicit reaction from the passengers and group. they might sue for soreness and suffering. He advised me of yet another case the place a guy stated injuring a cat that belonged to a girl. She suffered from melancholy as a results of that threat. She sued and gained. So, confident they might desire to counter sue. certainly. The airline might additionally sue for interference with flight workers.

It doesn't matter if I agree with the policy or not... with the Patriot Act they have a legal right to stop and search whoever they want...

People are still paranoid about planes.. and though I'm not I fully understand why they are... and they are going to continue to report ... it's human nature...

and I'm just too busy still laughing at the lady that struck a lighter a few months back to burn away the smell of her flatulence .... fire.. plan... yeah they grounded that plane fast and kicked her off... people freaked out.... lol

I do understand our paranoia here in America with planes right now... but at some point we have to move on and live a life not full of fear.

This is just another "frivolous" law suit to further congest our legal system.

Not only would I not grant them a victory over either defendent(s)...if I could....I would throw them in jail for delaying a flight..disrupting others...and anything else I could think of.

And NO...I would NEVER stop reporting suspicious behavior on a flight...regardless of race, religion, etc., etc.

No, they should not win...........everyone is paranoid about airlines, if you take a flight, you should expect the possibility and not act suspicious.
Passengers just did what they thought was right! They shoud not be reprimanded.
And, no, I would always report suspicious activity.

I expected this. I hope fervently that they lose. I also wouldn't be surprised if the ACLU stuck their nose into this one too.

The part that mystifies me is that one of the top-rated TV shows today is Criminal Minds which is all about profiling, yet libs go crazy at the mere mention of that word. I guess that we're just supposed to ignore all of the blatent indicators that are out there and go whistling into the dark praying that no one will hurt us.

Personally,

i think they should all be locked up for a long-long time. I'd say deported but I believe they hold U.S. Citizenships. What a shame! I'd love to be able to give them all one-way tickets to Damascus...........................

Somehow, this doesn't surprise me. Somehow, it doesn't surprise me that the ACL(screw)U is backing them.
