"Unconditional Love" I believe is when you don't care what your couple provides for you. For example even if you both lived in your car for a couple of months, everything between you guys will still be OK. Know Love is a big word and much more Unconditional... So just keep Love on the table and live, don't think of all the types of love, that just keeps the world confused of what is really love.

Unconditional love means that nothing (within reason) would make you stop loving someone.

It is almost non-existant because of the 'within reason' part. Most people attach certain conditions to their love - some are sensible, others are not.

For example, if you love your spouse, and claim that your love is 'unconditional' it isn't necessarily true - because most likely if your spouse were to cheat on you, or lie to you enough, you would probably ditch them. (Though in cases where someone truly loves someone else 'unconditionally' they will continue loving the person, but may make the decision to get away from them).

Some people claim to love unconditionally, and yet refuse to compromise at all when issues come up in their relationships. People should be upfront and honest about what they consider to be acceptable behavior - and there shouldn't be any doubt or gray area. Unfortunately people aren't entirely rational (and some aren't even remotely rational).

Loving someone no matter what happens. Having a forgiving spirit and being empathetic to the one you love. Being there through the good and bad times, through sickness and health, richer or poorer. Unconditional love is being devoted and committed completely to another person through life's struggles and happy times. There is unconditional human love and then the ultimate unconditional love of God.

The I Corinthians passage (I think that is it, I may need to talk to my minister). True love accepts all things, etc. They read it at Princess Diana's funeral.

It is the love and acceptance of someone or something, without criteria.

Pets are really good for this. I love animals.

To my way of thinking you only get a few kinds of "unconditional love". The main and only true love comes from Jesus, but after that in degrees, your parents/family, your self, whoever your significant other is (spouse or partner), and your kids (if you have any). Oh and friends, but all of those people can fail you. In the end, only Jesus won't fail. And even then we are tested on Earth and still have to go through bad things.

I have learned that you have to love people and your country, even when they disappoint or hurt you and even if it is bad.

If not you can become Hitler!

Quite simply, the love a mother has for her child. It never alters no matter what the child does, no matter how old the child is or who they become. I don't know any mother who wouldn't think twice about putting her own life and her own happiness before that of her child even when they've grown up. It truly is unconditional and life long.

I am one of the lucky (?) ones who loves unconditionally without much effort. For me, it means that I love without the other person needing to do anything for me but love me back. I don't care to change anything about them at all and nothing they do makes me angry or upset. We do not argue. I am currently living with the man that I love unconditionally. I don't need him to give me money. I do not care to monopolize his time. If he gained 200 pounds, I'd still love him unconditionally. I want him to take care of himself because I adore him and I want him around for a long time, but I do not nag him - He is his own person with his own thoughts and opinions and lifestyle. Who am I to tell him who to be or how to act. There's not one thing I would change about him, even if I could. I love him enough to put him first in everything, even before myself. I love him enough to let him be who he is and not who I want him to be. I am proud of his independence and in awe of his character. Most of all though is that I love him enough that if I didn't think I was good for him in some way, I would walk away and not try to keep hold of him. I want him to be free and happy - however he chooses to do that. Right now, I am happy and peaceful that he's in my life and loves me the way he does. I realize that there are people in the world who never have what we have in their whole life and I am grateful every single day for the time that I have with him.

It is the love expressed whenever someone else loves you no matter what you do, no matter what you look like, no matter how you behave, no matter how you change, no matter your preferences in music, no matter how loud you snore, no matter anything. THAT'S unconditional love.
