i have the 3in1 carseat by Eddie Bauer, I LOVE IT - it's from 4lbs to 100!! I didnt use that one though when my son was rear facing, I used the one that attaches into the stroller, you can take that out a lot easier. Im not too happy with my crib and the stroller is good but I have seen better, the carseat though is AWESOME!! Very comfortable, adjustable head, cupholder, rear faces and forward faces and turns into a booter.

Avoid Cosco cribs, my cousin gave me hers after 2 years of use and a year sitting in storage, wrapped in plastic, and all the paint is chipping off. I'm going to have to strip it once the weather breaks and before she can stand and chew on it. Unless you get wood, but then I'd worry about the clear coating, since they obviously use cheap paint. As long as it meets current safety requirements, you should pick a crib you like, with a durable matress. You may need it again in the future. I have the Graco Travel system, and although it can be bulky(I have a 2 door cavalier and a really big boyfriend who needs to put his seat all the way back cause he's so tall) It is really convient. I know that the graco carseat can be used without the base, which helps when your in a pinch and your base is somewhere else in your car. My friend had the evenflo system and she had to lug the car base w/ her because the seat is useless without it. The stroller is nice cause the carseat snaps in easily and you're good to go. Another must have is a pack and play, with a changing table. Right now(my brat is only 3 months) I have it in my living room and I use it as a toy catch all and for the changing station and naps. Once the weather breaks, it has a tent dome so baby can sit in it outside without worrying about bugs or sun. Plus it packs up well for overnight trips to grandmas, etc. They also have ones w/ bassinets, but then you have to buy the tent extra, so I just get the exercise of leaning over a little further, lol. A swing and bouncer are a must too, go with whatever theme you choose. Good luck!

I have the Graco Tour Deluxe Travel System in the Bermuda style (website below). It has the SafeSeat car seat which you can use up to when the baby is 32 pounds or 30 inches (bigger than other car seats and u can use this longer). I absolutely love both the car seat and the stroller. Highly recommended. I will be buying the Britax Boulevard car seat in a few months. It can be used from 5-65 pounds. After some research and recommendations, this is one of the best seats out there. It is a bit pricey at 300 dollars, but i heard it is worth every penny because of the safety features. Only the safest for your baby! I also recommend the pack n play from Graco as well. We have the one in the Counting Sheep style. Very easy to set up and use. Other stuff we really liked are the Ocean wonders set: high chair, bouncer, swing, travelling swing. My daughter really loves them! Other stuff i recommend are lots of receiving blankets, Mylicon (gas drops), pajama gowns for easy diaper changes, and clothes that don't go over the head....congratulations and good luck!

OK this is the best stroller out there hands down, it's FABULOUS and you can use it with virtually ANY infant carrier car seat, you just strap it in with the straps provided...I LOVE it!!!

I got mine at Burlington Coat Factory's Baby Depot but you can get it other places if you call around.
As for car seats I really liked my Graco Snugride, they are affordable and have great safety ratings as well as many different colors and design options. I have since moved my little girl to a Graco convertable seat that I love as well.
I'm not fond of my crib, it has a flat panel on the back instead of slats so I couldn't use a bumper...which I didn't think would be a problem until my daughter kept bumping her head at 2 months old. So I would recommend getting one with slats on all four sides.
OK this one might sound crazy but I have the best swaddling blanket ever made. It's a tish complicated the first couple times you use it but believe me once you figure it out it will provide you with much needed sleep! I give it to all my friends at their baby showers and they look at me like I'm crazy but then 3 months later are thanking me profusely!

I hope this helps!!

I got my crib from my mom, she used it for a couple of my younger siblings, and it has always been in good condition. It was originally from Fisher Price, they bought it through someone that worked there, it was cheaper cuz of some blemishes in the finish. It has a side rail that you lift up and slide the button over, then it drops down. I like it, I leave the side down after I get my daughter out, so if I put her in it while she's sleeping, I don't have to wrangle with putting it down with one hand. It's easy to do with two free hands, and a little harder with only one, but it is doable. However, it was bought many years ago, and I don't know if anything like it is available. I have the Graco stroller/infant carseat/carrier combo, nothing too special, just the basic. I love the stroller, and we definitely got our use out of the carseat/carrier! Also, I like my Evenflo high chair. They have many features nowadays that aren't that important, like height adjustments and all, but what I like best is that it folds up a bit. Very nice for when you need to put it out of the way once in awhile. My stroller and high chair I got from Walmart.

Graco and Cosco both are excellent companies for stollers, carseats and cribs.
You don't want a crib with is easy to snap the sides down, because as the baby get older it might be easier for him/her to figure a way to bring it down. If it a little difficult for you to bring it down, it will get easier with practice. However because it was difficult for you do it, it will be impossible for him/her to do it. Babies normally don't roll over until they are between 3 and 4 months so for the first few weeks you might even want to leave the side down. it still stays high enough that if a fluke happened and they rolled they still wouldn't beable to roll off.
As for the carseat. Once you purchased it take it to your police station so they can see if it's properly installed. I was lucky enough to live in a place where they have huge baby fairs and proper installation of carseats were shown. It's actually shocking at the number of babycar seat that are not properly installed.

I have an Evenflo Aura travel system, and or the most part I love it. The stroller is a little bulky, so sometimes we end up carrying her in the carrier instead of using the stroller- and a 16 pound baby in a carrier is kinda heavy. On the plus side ,my arms are getting really strong. :)

i havea britax convertable car seat , it goes from 5lbs to 65 lbs, its the number one in safety, very very pricey but u cnat put a price on safety now adays. i used it rear faced for a couple months because my daughter outgrew her carrier before she was a yr old. i totally reccommend that car seat, im pretty sure its the decathalon, they make them in beatiful colors as well. i hate my stroller i got it from walmart, this baby im going to babies r us for sure, the stroller i have now actually needs to be replaced anyways, it only last 19 months. I have a crib from walmt, it has the changing table and drawers attached to the side, i like it, the railing isnt real hard to get down but its definatly harder one handed but its suppose to be able to go down oine handed, i hardly ever put it down anyways, before my daughter could pull herself up i just kept it down (im short and its hard for me to reach into the crib when its up) my crib is a simplicity brand crib.
