How come so many people have red clown noses on their avatars today?

I've noticed a fair few members on here have got clown noses on their avatars, how come? Am I missing something? (I'm from Australia, so is it something celebrated in a different country?)

Because here in the UK, it's Red Nose Day. It's part of Comic Relief fund raising for helping kids all over.

I have noticed that as well. I am from the USA and I want a clown nose too. Can someone please help me?

There are brown nosers, nose to the grind stone & now noses on fire to get noticed! They all snort crank,blow some kinda black market drug!
