I have been asked to perform a marriage ceremony but I am an ordained minister from an online site where anyone can become ordained. Is the marriage considered legal? (This is in Florida.)

My sister is an online minister. She performed my ceremony in October. We live in NY. I think it would be the same, probably.

I don't know. I do know that a Notary can perform legal marriages in Florida. The on line ordination also worked for Joey Tribiani on Friend's.

You don't need any ceremony at all, legally. The marriage license is what makes it legal, not the ceremony.
