spider are predators
they only eat the insect and stuff that annoy and give your household problems. If you can stand them, allow them to work in your home.

However, Ortho, Raid, Spectricide and DuPont make effective pest control sprays.
Spiders are not insects but insect killer really annoys them and makes them curl up into little balls of agony as they wither away into dust.

Maybe a better question is: Why kill them? Are they causing damage? Sure they can be an unsightly and can seem menacing. But, before you rid yourself of this little cridder do some reading. They're actually a good thing to have around. Just not in your bed....lol

Why would you want to kill spiders? Spiders control harmful insects. Spiders in fact, are nature's pest control. Work with nature, not against it. Respect what spiders do for you. If they bother you, just scoop them up with a newspaper and throw them outside.

My basement is loaded with spiders but I ignore them unless they come upstairs. Then I just step on them.

Don't be spraying poisons everywhere. spiders are eating other bugs that you DO NOT want, and you can make everyone sick with all those sprays.
