HELP! how do I unlock my skilsaw 575?

When I press the trigger it won't go down, I have no idea where the unlock button or release is. Anyone have an idea? It's about 3 years old.

doesnt that model have a safety button u have to hold down with the trigger? maybe theres a short in the safety circuit?
