Listen, laugh a lot, and don't get mad over silly stuff. I love my best friend cause she laughs at me when I really say what I feel and is never offended.
My boyfriend is my best friend too, puts up with me through anything and everything. I do the same. That is a best friend.

I think honesty and integrity are very important. For example, every relationship sometimes has "issues" even when most of the time it is wonderful. I never talk about my best friend behind her back..if I have an issue I tell her right away, therefore no resentment or negativity builds up inside of me. She is the same way with me. We both want the friendship to be mutually fulfilling for both of us. In this way the relationship has grown over the years. Also, we are there for one another during good times and bad. I was there for her when her husband of 19 years left her for a younger woman. A year later, through my business I hooked her up with a guy I am certain is her soul mate. They have been together for a year. You are always looking out for friends like you would look out for anyone who is precious in your life. So for me it is about honoring the gift of the friendship and looking for ways to enhance it.

a lot of people need to get things off there chest and for some one to listen and that is the thing if yyou turn silent around it spells listen and that is the best thing also honesty no matter what be honest with your friend cause a true friend would never tell you nothing that would hurt you

That I'm trustworthy, dependable, clever, understanding, unbiased, I do and have gone out of my way to help friends out and not looking for anything in return. The one thing I won't do is lend money. Only because I've seen to many friends and family members loan serious amounts and not get anything back. =)

You have to be yourself and respectful of one another.
Being a true friend means being there for your friend(s) in their time of need and being able to laugh together.
Everybody sets their own friendship standards, but being a good friend means that you can keep their secrets, respect their wishes and mean all of the words that you say to them.

Loyalty, and trust. Those are the two most important things in friendship to me. You can't just give either one but, it comes in time. To recieve loyalty and trust, you must show yourself to be loyal to the friendship, and trustworthy in all situations.

If there heart is broken they will tell you and you will glue it back together! If they feel lost in life they will call you and you will help them find there way!if they are sad you will make them smile and last but not least if they are happy you will celebrate in style!

Care and only care with responsibilities. Care for his likes and his dislikes also. It will let him know that you really care for him and certainly only a good friend does this.
