MACEDONIA is pretty BIG!!! MACEDONIA was divided in 1912-1913 after the Balkan wars!! Macedonia was divided amongest Serbia, Bulgaria,and Greece,Which they signed the Treaty of Bucharest!! Today the only part that is on its own again is Vadar MACEDONIA which was under Yugoslavia(Serbia) for quite sometime. There is Pirin MACEDONIA which still falls under Bulgaria till today!! There is Aegean MACEDONIA which still falls under Greece till today!! There is also a very small part in Albania which is call Mala Prespa!!! These countries do not recognize MACEDONIANS nor do they recognize the country MACEDONIA!! Why because they are all scared that MACEDONIA will unite with its former territories and be a bigger country then them in the Balkans!!! Almost half of Greece belonged to MACEDONIA!! Which was the biggest part divided from MACEDONIA!!! Even the almost the whole western part of Bulgaria belonged to MACEDONIA!!! That is why these countries preach nothing but propaganda against the MACEDONIANS!! Because they will go from having a chunk of land to nothing anymore!! MACEDONIA FOR THE MACEDONIANS!!!!!

Ancient Macedonia was a greek kingdom in north Hellas By a simple search you will see maps describing its size and position. It remained a big territory also during Roman and byzantine times. After the Greeks rebelled against the Othoman empire they succeeded in getting back the largest part of Macedonia. Unfortunately some parts were occupied from Yugoslavia,Bulgaria and Albania. Now days Macedonia is one of Greece's largest territory and Thessaloniki its largest city.

The authentic Macedonia of Greece (the birth place of Alexander the great) is one of the biggest regions of Greece its territory covers most of the original northern Greek region of ancient Macedonia. Its name was later imparted to a wider Balkan region that became known in modern times as Macedonia.
Authentic Macedonia of Greece is 34,231 km² and has a population of 2,625,681 authentic (Greek)Macedonians.
As I already told the Greek name Macedonia was used to describe a broader geographical region which covers approximately 67,000 square kilometers. There is no official recognition of these arbitrary delimitation, especially since they include territories of Bulgaria, Serbia and Albania that are not called "Macedonia".
{Do not confuse the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia or Macedon (which was the birth place of Alexander) with the modern state of FYROM or Slavic/Albanian-Macedonia as they are not related at all. The confusion has started a few years ago because that small state started to use the name “Republic of Macedonia” causing a great confusion with authentic Macedonia in Greece.}
