This is a direct result of Political Correctness. Special interest civil rights group and other radical groups have infiltrated our media and government and have been successful in getting laws into place that contradict common sense and sound legal process. Fight and eliminate the political correctness nonsense and that will stop.

When the East is compared with the West, this is the gaping difference. Where the sympathy is with the criminal? Where it is with the Victim? When in Jail, the human right activists, in the West, are all out for providing more and more comforts to the criminal. Hardly any activist to keep consoling the Victim and the family of the victim. The West says the Laws are very harsh in the East. They are taunted as Islamic Laws. No media, in spite of trumpted honesty, reports that by punishment to a few, the population at large is crime free. There are countries, not in the West, where the street crimes do not occur. This question is not about US alone, but, generally about most countries in the West. A good question.

Given the actual shown actuality that the conflict mongering Bush is and has been waging an unlawful conflict with out any Constitutional announcement of conflict ALL depending UPON FILTHY STINKING LIES that has considered the slaughter of over four hundred,000 risk free Iraqi civilians and now sees some sixty 8% of individuals annoying an end to this crime adverse to humanity and Bush giving WE,the people the FINGER, do you ideas telling us what the hell enormous difference postponing the structure can make pretty in view that so some distance the perfect courtroom has governed in 3 circumstances that Bush has certainly violated the structure. even as will individuals comprehend that of each of the western democracies ,the U. S. Republican form of govenment is with assistance from some distance the least democratic and has the LEAST controls on the flexibility of it really is chief from no longer being waiting to elect their personal chief in the first position to giving him a ludicrously un-democratic "veto ability" that makes a mockery of the very essense of democracy and that is the overall public guidelines. the entire failure of the U. S. Congress both now and in the previous to effect THE DEMOCRATIC WILL OF the people is as a rule because of the un-democratic veto ability and and the both ludicrously un-democratic un-proportionately elected Senate . The dirty little secrete is that the Founding Fathers had little use for WE,the people and held them in contempt and through the entire structure made guidelines and guidelines to thwart the favor of WE the people and provides you the flexibility to the elitist authorities branch . No, the U. S. already has and has continuously had an powerful dictatorship.

its not that they have more rights, just better ones, lol.
Repeat offenders typically do so because they learn to feel more comfortable in a jail cell than in society, so they do something to return. I mean why wouldnt' they. The ONLY down side is they can't leave the prison. Other than that they have free cable, sports, schools, even pools at some. Whats really great is Americans get to foot the bill.
I say speed up the death penalty. 3rd strike fine, you go to the chair. Decrease crime, use deterrents.
The only thing you can really do is petition congress, try to initiate bills that push for harsher punishments.
We have got to take back our country.

get rid of the ACLU and all the other bleeding heart groups.... organizations that stand up for the hardened criminals and their constitutional rights. When you commit a hineous crime, you SHOULD HAVE NO RIGHTS. Your victim lost all their rights, especially the one to live, when YOU KILLED THEM. The child lost his right to a safe and happy childhood, WHEN YOU MOLESTED THEM. The woman lost her right to a happy and normal life when YOU RAPED HER. All these bleeding heart organizations and liberals obviously have never felt the pain and tragedy the victims and their families go through. If they did, they would think twice before standing up for scumbags.

Yeah, I was watching a documentary on a MAXIMUM security facility. Each individual cell had their own television set. I love how my tax money goes to rapists' and murder's entertainment.

I realize that we all have the SAME rights by law; however, the victims rights are 2nd to the alleged criminal in our country. "in case of false allegations" however if your the victim of a real crime & you are NOT falsely accusing...you have an UPward battle b/c of all the idiots who were using the courts to get "revenge". ie spurned lovers for instance claim false allegations for rape...exspouses/gf/bf...accuse their mate of child abuse...angry coworker claims sexual harrassment...the list goes on. But what can we do?
