Put him back under the rock you found him under. His actions are irrational and sound like they indicate insanity.
Sounds like he has no respect for you at all. Unfortunately this is part of some Islamic cultures. I know it is not politically correct to say so, but I have read the Quran and see where this could come from out of it. Be careful, if this guy sees you as his property, his reaction to what he probably sees as your lack of submission could get violent.
Your father sounds like a wise man whose advice you should have followed.

LEAVE!!!!! It will only get worse. I was in an abusive marraige and I finally got out and that was the best thing I did. He can't respect you. You have to demand respect and let him know you will not be treated this way. Leave him and find somebody that treats you the way you sdeserve to be treated. Good luck
