This question might be stupid to most of you, but I'm only 18 and never had any chores growing up... I went to the laundromat to wash my clothes and it was really simple, all you did was throw your clothes in and put in the detergent and pick the temperature... Well, in my house we just got a new washer. It has the settings normal and perm press. I don't know what perm press is, but I have some dress/career pants and the tag says they need to be washed in the delicate cycle. I asked my mom if it would be ok to wash them in perm press cycle and she doesn't know. I don't wanna risk ruining them because I start a new job Sunday and I need them for that. If it matters here is what the fabric is:
70% polyester
25% rayon
5% spandex

And they're black. I can't see why that would matter but yeah, just in case it does.

Perm press cycle is fine.....but anytime you don't know, do them in the sink by hand.

PS) Permanant press means NO Ironing is needed. OK

Yes you can put them in the perm press cycle. Just be sure to wash them in cold water because warm will fade the colors.

it doesn't matter a hill of beans as what cycle you run t he pants thru. Delicate or perm press is for thing that are lacy like bras, panties, and things you just ain't real sure of. Almost a hand wash cycle.

Perm press is for clothes that are classed as "no-iron" after washing and drying.

I definitely have executed this formerly even if it relies upon on what you attempt to bathe. If it form of feels fairly smooth and should be really ruined then you definitely're safer accessible wash yet in the different case the smooth cycle frequently does a really effective pastime of hand washing your clothing.

There should be a delicate cycle on your washing machine too. If there isn't, consider hand-washing, or turning the knob to the lowest number on the permament press cycle.

Congratulations on your new job!

yes wash them on perm press, with speed on delicate/slow( if it is on regular it could mess up your clothes) also the temp should be cold or you would fade out your dark clothes in one wash without even trying. you could do the dryer with clothes but for a short while with the setting on fluff(it doesn't make it fluff up)
