I think this is a mistake that many make. Sometimes, it's not what you'd rather do but what you're forced to do. I have financial obligations that I've taken upon myself, and so I relegate my life to one of quiet despEration, doing something that I tolerate (and am good at) but don't really love.
If I could do anything, and money were no object, I'd be an author and a teacher.
There's a saying out there that I wish I could follow: "Do what you love, and the money will come."

I've done both and immensely prefer the dream job. The tolerate for lots of pay just created misery that winds up costing you in the long run.

Depends on what you mean my tolerate. I've tolerated alot of stuff with little pay. So basically I guess I could tolerate things for awhile then move if I neccesiarly had to.

Wow ! This one is tough to answer, but having kids, a home, and many financial responsibilities would make me pick the high pay and be miserable with intentions of some day having my dream job.
Once my kids move on though, I'll be selling Harley's.
So come see me then.

For something you can tolerate than your dream job.There is a lot more things to come which you need to tolerate when you don't have the money to use.
