Absolutely worth the trip, and the price of admission. The setup is very conducive to a great day. There are adequate provisions made for the inevitable shower, and plenty of shade. The animals are kept in marvelous health, and are exhibited in a manner that makes it possible for everyone to see. The zoo is clean and tidy. The new exhibits are wonderful. It seems like every trip there is something new. Make sure you take the time to visit the "hospital" wing, and see how Steve has planned for the future of his efforts on behalf of wildlife. Ask to see Whistler. He is a blind Koala that lives in the hospital wind. He is super. Learn about some of the diseases in the wild and how they are affecting wildlife throughout Australia. Enjoy every minute you have at the zoo. Go early and stay all day! The Australia Zoo is a "must see"!

Yes absolutely. The late Steve Irwin did a fabulous job of the place. All the zoo was so clean and spacious. we visited it in 2005 and plan to visit again next year.
I am certain Terri Irwin will be keeping the place the successful place it always has been.

If I were financially able Iwould make a special trip from Florida, usa to austrailia zoo. That is Steve Irwin's zoo and the place was totally established with love. I would try toplan the trip for when Terri &thekids were sceduled tobe there. Although, it is still so sad for me -- what a man, what a family, what a zoo!!!!!!!!

Certainly is!
I've been with the family many times, when we've been holidaying at the Sunshine Coast.
It's been interesting to see the growth over the years.
Every time we go there's more to see and do.
You almost need more than one day to see it all.
Now, I'll be taking the grandchildren.

Absolutely! Been there a few times myself over the years and can't believe how much better it gets each time!! Get there early at soon as it opens, you need a whole day to get around everything.
