The CW rep for Veronica Mars says: "The show has not been canceled. A decision will be made on May 17."
The CW is considering 3 options for next season: Cancellation, Renewal or New format.
Veronica's fate has not yet been decided, but chances of it coming back in its current format are looking grim.
Creator Rob Thomas is shooting a five- to six-minute featurette of a new version of Veronica Mars. This new Veronica version takes place four years in the future, and features Veronica as a full-fledged FBI agent.

Technically, it's not canceled. The network requested 3 more episodes for the new season, so it's still around. They can order 6 more episodes to round out the season, but it's not looking good at this time. I thought that the show was doing good, but maybe they're having some problems selling spots for the show. We'll find out later on in the season.

i have heard that still and replaced into fairly disillusioned. It replaced into suggested that truth shows ought to take that aspect slot and Veronica should be no more advantageous. i wish that the people to blame will imagine two times and shop her on the air. in simple terms so that you be conscious of, there are a ton of different tremendous shows on the CW different then the above you said so verify them out till VM comes again.
