I have done it many times. First, you have to find out the "e-mail address" of your phone. To find it out, send a text message from your phone to your e-mail account. Then when you check you e-mail, it should be there along with the sender. This is the e-mail address that you need to use to send stuff to your phone. It is different for each wireless carrier, so this is the best way to find out.

I only know from phone to e-mail. How about typing your cell phone number in the e-mail adress bar and try sending?

you should have an email address associated with your phone#....it can be done but it would be easier to answer if I knew who your carrier was.
