Is it normal to feel depressed and feel like your not ready for a baby? I did want to get pregnant, but now that I am pregnant, I feel like I shouldve waited better and I get even more depressed because of my boyfriend? I dont even know if I want to be with him forever.. Is this normal? Has anyone felt like this before?

100% normal so please try not to worry about it. Your body and mind is going through some hard and unusual changes so its just trying to adapt, but this isnt always easy. I mean its alright in theory to think having a baby is great, but theory and it actually happening is a different thing, not that i am saying you dont want your baby, but you sound like me,
just go with the flow, nobody knows that there going to be together forever, so just take it one step at a time, and think of the baby, and thats it, you guy's will always be the mum and dad whether or not its together is just one of those things.
and the emotions do start to get better in the middle trimester so hang on, you'll see that it'll work out in the end.
Congratulations and Good Luck

Just because you are having a baby with this guy does not mean you have to be with him forever. You can both still be good parents to the baby and live separate lives. It is normal to be depressed, espcially in your situation of not wanting to be pregnant and not sure about the guy. I was in a similar situation when pregnant with my son who is now 7 and he's been the greatest joy of my life and his father is not even in the picture. I guess that's why we're pregnant for so long to give us time to prepare. You'll be alright and you'll love being a mom once the baby is here! : )

It's those darn hormones talking. You will have all kinds of mood swings. Just take it in stride. At least you are concerned about what kind of parent and role model you will be and that is terrific. It will work out. Somehow, someway it always does. Read everything you can get your hands on. It will help and make you feel more prepared. Congrats and good luck!

It's totally normal to feel that way. I felt that way for awhile during my pregnancy and it turned out just fine. I wasn't ready and wanted to wait too but it will all change once you have that baby in your arm and holding him/her for the first time!

It is normal. Trust me, when your baby is born you will fall in love with him/her. Taking care of a baby will come naturally to you. As for your boyfriend, you don't have to be committed to him for life. He will always be the baby's father but does not necessarily have to be a part of your life. You will cheer up. Even still, consult your OB/GYN and inform him/her of your feelings. I am sure he/she can guide you back to happiness.

Yes its normal ... to a certain degree. Pregnancy causes all kinds of mood and hormonal changes ...but if you are having serious depression symptoms please tell your doctor how you are feeling. I wish you the best of luck :)
