Nearly every countries crime problem seems to be in the inner citys. Why is this? Is this because that's where all the immigrants are sent to live? Also, do you think it's now starting to move out of the inner citys and in to the suburbs.

Where i live in liverpool, uk there has always been a bad crime problem in the inner city areas, but in the last 2-3 years, the suburbs is where all the gun crime is at now. Crime in the suburbs is out of control at the moment and yet it's rare you hear of a shooting in the inner citys these days. The weird thing is though, is that tons more immigrants seem to be moving into the inner citys, yet you would be lucky to see a non-white person in the suburbs.

What do you think?

Usually there is a higher concentration of people in inner cities, and also a higher level of poverty. These are factors that lead to crime.
