drywall problems are obvious. what is the problem with door frame? how many? where? do cracks in foundation corrispond with door problems? contact local homebuilders assn. and explain the problem to them. your builder may not be a member, but they can guide you from here.

Check with your local building dept. Contractors generally give you a one year foundation to roof warranty. However if it can be proved that he was negligent, you may have a case against him in court if it's past the warranty period.

You could hire a building inspector to look at your problems and he could tell whether they are poorly or improperly constructed or not. You should have hired one before you closed on the house. If you have not closed on it yet get an inspector out there before you do. They are trained to look for problems and they can be held responsible if they miss something, so they are well worth the money.

Any decent building contractor should stand behind there work even if it the house is more than one year old. 90% of all problems I've dealt with have much to do with the landscaping. Make sure there are no low spots around the foundation and that all your down spouts carry rain water away from foundation.
